FIRST SENIOR CITIZENS’ DANCE FESTIVAL

FIRST SENIOR CITIZENS’ DANCE FESTIVAL

The Champagnat Institute in Pasto came alive with the brilliance of the First Dance Festival for Senior Citizens.

On Friday, September 30, this unique event unfolded, showcasing the beauty and magic of dance through performances by the “Abuelitos Maristas” group and invited troupes from the city of Ipiales. The celebration extended beyond borders as our Ecuadorian neighbors shared the richness of their cultural identity through dance. The stage pulsated with live music, performed by the talented musicians of our institution, the Champakids. Every step, every melody, and every smile wove a tapestry of emotions that connected hearts and transcended boundaries. This magical encounter of generations and cultures celebrated dance as a bridge of unity and brotherhood, reminding us that life’s true beauty lies in the harmony of shared movements and the melody of connected hearts. May dance continue to serve as a universal language, uniting us in a timeless celebration of diversity and life!
